Registered as public, limited the unlisted Group comprises of two integrated sugarcane processing companies: Rahim Yar Khan Sugar Mill & Alliance. The Group is amongst the largest sugar manufacturers locally and one of the few progressive industrial groups which export surplus electricity to the national power grid.

Continually striving to maximize the potential of sugarcane, RYK Mills transform the agri-crop into an energy crop by cogenerating power from bagasse (a waste product from sugarcane processing) through CDM technologies. Bagasse based co-generation is an environment friendly, renewable means to significantly lessen the greenhouse gas emission as well as dependency on fossil fuels for electricity production.
